Since 2009, Miracle Jeans Day has encouraged groups and individuals alike to trade their traditional work attire for jeans and help raise funds for kids treated at the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital in their area. Since its beginning, Miracle Jeans Day has raised more than $4 million to help fund life-saving medical needs in Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Miracle Jeans Day is a day to dress casual to help the kids of Central Florida. By dressing down and making a donation to your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, you are helping thousands of sick and injured children treated throughout Central Florida.
Miracle Jeans Day can be held any day that you like and participating is easy! Select a day for your event, promote the event and encourage everyone to wear jeans, and then collect a small donation on that day to support Children’s Miracle Network and Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Everyone that participates in this initiative has the opportunity to make it their own – you could wear jeans, try out a new crazy hat or sport your funniest socks.
Why Go Casual For The Kids?
One in 10 kids in North America is treated at a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital each year. Every single day, nearly 16,000 children visit the emergency rooms of our 170 member hospitals. Wearing jeans may lead to a more comfortable day in the office for you, but on Miracle Jeans Day it also generates hope for families relying on the services of Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. A simple $5 donation could supply 10 diapers for a premature baby. A $25 donation could provide five baby blankets. Best of all—your donation stays local to help the over 136,000 kids throughout Central Florida that are treated annually at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.
